Right-wing activists plan to evict Arab family from former synagogue.

Settlers are threatening to forcibly evict an Arab family living in an ancient synagogue in Silwan in the next couple of weeks.National Union MK Uri Ariel submitted a question to Public Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch on Wednesday, regarding "police foot-dragging in Silwan." In the question, Ariel contrasted efforts to evict Jewish settlers in Beit Yehonatan in Silwan with the failure to act over the Arab house. He said that there is a court order to remove the Arab family from the synagogue.
