Barack Obama is picking up the endorsement of Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar, giving him another superdelegate supporter.
Klobuchar, a freshman Democrat, says in a statement provided to The Associated Press that Obama has "inspired an enthusiasm and idealism" that the country hasn't seen in a long time.
She calls Obama "a new kind of leader," who brings a new perspective and inspires excitement among Americans.
In a statement, Obama says he's grateful for Klobuchar's support. According to the Obama campaign, Klobuchar is the 64th superdelegate to endorse him over rival Hillary Rodham Clinton since the Feb. 5th Super Tuesday contests.
