According to the source, the Hyper Cacher store has been completely renovated and re-staffed since it shuttered following the attack.
The store served as the focal point of the attack perpetrated by jihadist Amedy Coulibal, who killed four Jewish hostages before police shot him dead during a raid of premises.
The fatal hostage incident took place merely three days after a separate terrorist attack at the office of the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo left 12 dead in the French capital.
The store was due to re-open its doors amid concerns of increasing anti-Semitism in France, which is home to and estimated 600,000 Jews - the largest Jewish community in Europe.
