Los Angeles police said a man with a rifle has wounded two people at a festival outside a Southern California church on Saturday.
Authorities say the man opened fire a few minutes before 11 a.m. during a school festival at St. John Baptist de la Salle Catholic church in Granada Hills.
Officer Norma Eisenman says bystanders may have helped hold the man for police.
Two victims were taken into the church but there's no word on their conditions or what prompted the attack.
