Sarkozy calls rioting in French suburbs 'unacceptable'

French President Nicolas Sarkozy insisted Wednesday that rioters who shot at police would be brought to justice and called the violence that has raged for three nights in a Paris suburb unacceptable. "So that things are very clear: What has happened is absolutely unacceptable," Sarkozy, said after meeting with a wounded police captain hospitalized in Eaubonne north of Paris. He said those who shot at police "would be brought to account before justice."
