Southeast Asia's most wanted terror suspect Noordin Top may have fled Indonesia.
A recently arrested militant has told police an Algerian man who helped him escape from Indonesia also said Top had managed to flee the country.
The claim is contained in police interrogation documents obtained by The Associated Press.
A senior anti-terror officer said Monday that police were still "crosschecking" the information with other sources.
He spoke on condition of anonymity because of the nature of his job.
