Hanuni remembered when he got the call to volunteer equipment and people, ״In July this year, I got a call telling me there was an emergency situation in Thailand.״He knew he had to help because he made his technology for this very purpose. Maxtech Networks develops and deploys communication technology that does not require infrastructure and therefore can be used in “highly mobile and dynamic” situations.Hanuni said he developed the technology as a response to the technical issues many first responders had after 9/11.The technology has been used by the IDF and other rescue crews around the world. Vongkovit also thanked Israel for “its special navy team and specialized diving helmets to assist the operation.”How inspiring! At #JFNAGA now, #Thailand’s Ambassador to #Israel thanking the State of Israel and Uzi Hanuni of Maxtech Networks, an Israeli company that was crucial in helping in the successful rescue of the Thai soccer teens who were recently trapped in a cave! ❤️ pic.twitter.com/eWohY2fCoS
