By JPOST.COM STAFFUS President Barack Obama extended US sanctions on Syria by a year, a communiqué to Congress detailed on Tuesday.In the message, Obama expressed concern that Syria continues to support terrorist regimes and tries to obtain weapons of mass destruction.
