Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki was in for a surprise earlier this week as MEPs greeted him at the entrance to the European Parliament with photos of Neda Agha-Soltan, the young woman who was killed during protests in Teheran following the Iranian elections last year. The MEPs held up posters memorializing Neda's face, contrasting them with gruesome blow-ups of her bloodied visage at the time of her death.Following the incident, Mottaki was steered to a podium, where he told reporters that he had had "frank and somehow friendly discussions" with the European parliament members. He added that a press conference at which journalists could ask questions would be held the next day."It was, in general, a good meeting," he concluded.
