Family members of Jewish Agency director Maj.-Gen. (ret.) Doron Almog have been murdered in Kfar Aza on Monday morning.
Almog penned a letter to Israeli officials sharing the news of the passing of six different family members at the hands of Hamas terrorists that infiltrated the community.
Jewish Agency head, former IDF chief of Gaza border security
Almog previously served in the IDF as OC Southern Command and was in charge of securing the border with the Gaza Strip. In his first speech after being approved by the agency’s board, Almog mentioned that he was “the first soldier to land in Entebbe, where we rescued 105 hostages in Operation Entebbe.” For many Diaspora Jews, Almog’s personal story can be fascinating and can connect them to Israel.
Family members of Almog that were killed were named as Chen Almog Goldstein, along with her husband Nadav.
They were killed alongside their children Yam, Agam, Tal, and Gal.
The family resided in Kibbutz Kfar Aza alongside their parents, who were all in Bulgaria at the time of the attack.
