Report: Netanyahu aide to resign as sexual misconduct case to be closed

The case of alleged sexual misconduct by aide to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will be closed, resulting in his resignation from the post, Channel 2 reported on Wednesday.David Keyes, Netanyahu's spokesman for foreign media, was accused in mid-September by at least 10 women of sexual misconduct. The accusations all stemmed from actions he allegedly did before being appointed an aide to Netanyahu.The Civil Service Commission reached a deal with Keyes, the report said, in which the case will be closed and he will step down from his position.In September, Keyes was accused by Julia Salazar, a New York politician, of sexual assault, a claim echoed by 10 other women weeks later.Keyes denied all accusations, saying in a statement, "This false accusation is made by someone who has proven to be repeatedly dishonest about her own life. This is yet another example of her dishonesty."
