Stars, cinema and style will be on full display at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah, that begins this week. But there will be another feature at the 10-day-long celebration of film: a full-service Shabbat Lounge, now for the second year running.Any celebrities – and non-celebrities too – looking for a hearty meal, a little oneg and even some cholent, can stop by the Shabbat Lounge this weekend at the Wasatch Brew Pub in Park City, Utah.Friday night’s lineup includes pre-Shabbat cocktails, a range of services options, dinner and an oneg after-party. Saturday begins with Shabbat morning yoga, continues with a cholent-laden kiddush (after prayers, of course), afternoon speakers and a musical havdala party to end the weekend. Of course, we’re still talking about a Hollywood crowd, so there are vegan and gluten-free meals available as well. The weekend is organized by the non-profit Shabbat Tent, which holds similar projects at festivals and gatherings across the US, including Coachella, Bonnaroo, SXSW and more.So will Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Jake Gyllenhaal or Jonah Hill show up for some challah and wine this weekend? We’ll just have to wait and see.
