Israel Border Police rescue Palestinian man near Cave of the Patriarchs

Israel Border Police on Tuesday saved the life of a Palestinian man who fell unconscious in Hebron.The man in his 20s stopped breathing and lost consciousness in a house near the Cave of the Patriarchs.A number of Palestinians arrived at a checkpoint near the site, manned by members of the Border Police's Yehuda Brigade. There they asked for help dealing with the gravely ill man.A team of soldiers and a medic arrived at the scene, assessed the situation and immediately began giving life-saving treatment to the man.The team returned the man to consciousness and when his condition was stabilized, he was transferred to the Red Crescent for further treatment and monitoring.A Border Police spokesperson said, "Israel Police and Border Police officers operate without distinction of religion, race or gender."The man's family members thanked the officers for their actions.
