Rishon, Shfela see rise in solar energy installations

In the second half of 2019, there was a 40% increase in solar energy systems installations on private homes in Rishon Lezion and the Shfela, according to Nir Peleg, CEO of Enerpoint.The installations amounted to NIS 5 million; installation costs ranged from NIS 50,000 to NIS 80,000.The company has recently recruited additional workers to comply with the installation schedule for private homes in the Rishon Lezion area.Solar energy systems in private homes use the generated electricity both for private use and for sale to the national electricity company.
