Some 13,000 vacationers enjoyed time on the banks of Lake Kinneret, the Kinneret Authority control room announced Sunday.
The association will offer free shuttle service during the holiday in order to help visitors enjoy the scenic site. Association staff will explain the importance of keeping the beaches clean and will hand out trash bags to visitors.
Due to a large number of vacationers, the Hokek Beach was closed.
