WATCH: Protesters rally in front of Netanyahu’s residence in Jerusalem
The Israel Police said it found enough evidence to indict the prime minister with bribery, fraud, and breach of trust charges.

A small group of protesters gathered Wednesday evening in front of the official Prime Minister's Residence in Jerusalem, calling on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to resign in light of the police’s recommendations to indict him with bribery charges in two different cases.Protesters were holding signs reading “Bibi - go home,” and “Loving Israel, saying goodbye to Netanyahu.” The posters were also chanting slogans calling on the prime minister to resign.On Tuesday the Israel Police announced that it finished both investigations involving Netanyahu - Case 1000 (“the gifts affair”) and Case 2000 (the “Yedioth Aharonot affair”). In both cases, police said it found enough evidence to indict the prime minister with bribery, fraud, and breach of trust charges.In a statement, police said that Netanyahu received some NIS 1,000,000 from international movie producer Arnon Milchan and Australian billionaire James Packer. It was said that in five different sub-cases, police found that Netanyahu used his power to benefit Milchan.In Case 2000, police found evidence the ties Netanyahu with intentions to act to close Israel’s largest-circulation newspaper, Israel Hayom, in favor of favorable coverage in its biggest competitor Yedioth Aharonot.Police found recordings of negotiations between Netanyahu and Yedioth’s publisher Arnon “Noni” Mozes, which led to these conclusions.Groups from both left and right are calling to hold anti- and pro-Netanyahu rallies over the weekend.
