A 62-year-old woman died in a fire in a building located in the area of the Carmel Market in Tel Aviv on Monday morning.Magen David Adom paramedic Danny Ben- Arush said: “When we got to the place, we saw thick smoke coming out of a one-story building that was on fire. The firefighters were working to extinguish the fire, and as soon as it was possible, checked the building and rescued from it a 62-year-old woman, who was unconscious, with no pulse, not breathing, suffering from burns and smoke inhalation. We carried out advanced resuscitation operations... but her condition was critical, and in the end we had to pronounce her death.”Firefighters have gained control over the fire on Yom Tov Street, which blazed in the backyard of a one-story building next to a warehouse.Police detained a 58-year-old man during the investigation surrounding the circumstances of the incident.
