WOOF! Israeli police welcome arrival of 28 Czech police dogs
The dogs were selected from hundreds of possible police dogs to ensure they have good stamina and get the job done, police spokesperson said.

Israeli police welcomed on Wednesday the arrival of 28 Czech police dogs meant to begin their service in the police after being trained according to the Israeli system. The dogs include Malinois and German shepherd breeds.The Israeli training program is meant to take six months and at the end of it the new dogs will join the 260 strong group of working dogs now in service of the police.Known for their fierce loyalty and unique sense of smell, dogs serve the police in a variety of tasks, from pointing out illegal drug shipments to locating missing persons.
