Yair Netanyahu, the son of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, burst into a closed meeting held in the Prime Minister’s Residence during negotiations and screamed that Walla owner Shaul Elovitch "is not providing the goods," Channel 13 reported on Sunday. The alleged screaming was described by state witness Nir Hefetz, who claimed the young Netanyahu screamed repeatedly until attorney Yossi Cohen had to get up from his chair and remove him. When asked by police, the younger Netanyahu said “do you really think that cripple Yossi Cohen could remove me from anywhere?”Cohen was disabled during his service in the IDF.In response to Channel 13, the young Netanyahu said the testimony is “false” and that in order to save his own skin Hefetz would stop at nothing. The police were investigating the relationship between Benjamin Netanyahu and Shaul Elovitch, the suspicion being Netanyahu received positive coverage in Walla in exchange for Netanyahu directing the communications director-general to approve a merger worth around $1 billion to Elovitch and which professionals at the ministry opposed.Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu took to Twitter to discredit the report, calling it "fake news.""It's only Sunday but there's been a tight competition on the Fake News Award this week," Netanyahu tweeted. "Guy Peleg and Aviad Glickman, the left-wing spokesmen who impersonate journalists, have published two 'Fake news stories' from a state's witness that sold every lie to save himself for his crime."Peleg and Glickman are Channel 13 reporters who released the report."Glickman wants revenge on my family because my son Yair has filed a report against him with the police," Netanyahu continued. "Guy Peleg is in the Fake News campaign on the basis that Yair called him 'Dumbo.' Glickman and Peleg reached out for a response minutes before the [report's] release. Really good journalism...
