Dahaf/Knesset Channel poll finds 75% of Israelis see nuclear-armed Iran as existential threat to Jewish state.

Nearly two-thirds – 65 percent – of Israelis do not believe in the danger of another Holocaust occurring, according to a poll by the Dahaf Institute released by the Knesset Channel Wednesday.The survey, administered by Dahaf director Mina Tzemach, found a slight drop in the number of people who believe another Holocaust is possible as compared to a similar poll conducted last year. Of those surveyed, 29% answered that another Holocaust is plausible, compared to 36% of respondents in last year’s poll.The poll also gauged that 75% of the Israeli public believes a nuclear-armed Iran constitutes an existential threat to Israel, while 21% did not see the Iranian nuclear threat as endangering Israel’s existence.According to the survey, a perceived nuclear threat from North Korea or Pakistan is of less concern in Israel than one from Iran; 52% of those questioned were not worried by such a threat, while another 42% answered that Pyongyang’s nuclear stockpile may constitute a threat to Israel.
