Ask for support for Israel Police, blast harassment, threats against husbands.

Four policemen's wives protested on Friday in front of Police Insp.-Gen. Moshe Karadi's home in Rishon Lezion.
The women protested against harassments and threats allegedly made against policemen by right-wing elements. They also claimed their husbands did not get enough backing by the upper ranks of the police establishment.
Oshra Assaf, wife of a police officer who participated in the evacuation of Amona six weeks ago told Israel Radio that the women wanted to make the public aware of the hard work and dedication that their husbands, and other policemen, contribute to society.
"We came to support the Israel Police," Assaf said.
In the early afternoon Karadi stepped out of his home to talk to the four women. He reportedly asked why more women did not come.
The protestors claimed to have many more supporters who did not arrive at the Chief of Police's house.
The protest came two days after a car belonging to a senior officer, who participated in the Amona evacuation, was vandalized. That was the third case in which officers who were active in Amona had their cars damaged.
Although police assessed that the latest incident was not politically motivated, Internal Security Minister Gideon Ezra did blame the other two cases on right-wing activists who were protesting the destruction of nine structures in the illegal outpost.
