The trial of former justice minister Haim Ramon was set to resume Monday to allow three additional witnesses to testify in Ramon's defense.
The court approved the former justice minister's request to delay the verdict so the witnesses, three women employed at the Prime Minister's Office in Tel Aviv, could deliver their testimony.
Ramon was accused of sexual harassment this past summer after allegedly forcibly kissing a female soldier who worked in the Prime Minister's Office. However, the case became more complicated when it was revealed that illegal wiretaps and police coercion may have been used to obtain testimony.
The verdict is expected to come out on Tuesday of next week.
