Flooding in neighborhoods in Kfar Saba and Hod Hasharon inundated vehicles and houses following rainstorms Monday afternoon. The flash floods caused severe traffic congestion, but police said that at this point human lives were not endangered by the rising waters.
Kfar Saba police blocked roads that had become flooded and were redirecting traffic to alternate routes.
Galilee police received reports of flash floods in Nahal Tzalmon that had covered Route 804 between Rama Junction and Hilazon-Sakhnin Junction. Police were clarifying the extent of the flooding and the degree to which the roads had become impassable.
