Fourth Kassam hits Western Negev

None hurt at rockets hit open areas; 14 reportedly hurt in Gaza air strike.

A Kassam rocket launched by Palestinians in the Gaza Strip hit an open area in the Sha'ar Hanegev region on Saturday evening.
The rocket was the fourth projectile to hit Israel's South on Saturday. No one was hurt and no damage was reported in any of the attacks.
Earlier Saturday, a 'Color Red' early-warning siren was sounded in Ashkelon and in theSha'ar Hanegev Regional Council by mistake. The false alarm was a result of a technical problem.
Overnight Friday, fourteen Palestinians were reportedly wounded when the IAF struck several targets in the Dahaniya airport in the southern Gaza Strip in response to rocket attacks.
Two of the men were reportedly in serious condition.
The military confirmed carrying out an air strike, saying it had targeted a Hamas facility.
On Thursday afternoon a Kassam rocket exploded in an open area in the western Negev, without causing casualties or damage.
On the previous night, IAF aircraft struck six targets in Gaza inresponse to a Kassam attack that killed a foreign worker in NetivHa'asara Thursday. The army said it struck three smuggling tunnels onthe Egyptian border, a weapons production facility and two tunnelsintended for infiltration into Israel to carry out attacks. TwoPalestinians were reportedly wounded in the strikes.
Israeli security officials believe the recent rocket attacks have notbeen carried out by Hamas, but the organization – which controls Gaza –is seen as responsible for not preventing them.
