180 members of Hadassah, the Women's Zionist
Organization of America, arrived in Israel on
Wednesday on a weeklong trip.
The visit, led by Hadassah National President June
Walker, will include an on-site presentation of the $250 million tower that Hadassah will build at its flagship Jerusalem hospital over the next five years, as well as the dedication of a sports center at the Hadassah Neurim Youth Village and a high-tech fire engine donated to the JNF.
Founded in 1912, Hadassah is a volunteer women's
organization which supports pace-setting health care, education and land development in Israel, while promoting Jewish education, Zionist youth programs, and health awareness in the United States.
