Strike follows exchange of fire between IDF, Palestinian gunmen in Gaza.

Palestinian sources reported Monday that one Hamas-affiliated operative was killed when IAF aircraft fired missiles at a terror cell carrying an anti-tank rocket near the security fence in the northern Gaza Strip.
Earlier Monday, IDF combat engineers near Beit Hanoun in southern Gaza shot and killed one of two Palestinian gunmen who opened fire on the soldiers. The condition of the second gunman was unknown.
Overnight Sunday, IDF troops killed three terror operatives in Gaza who were on their way to carry out an attack in Israel.
The soldiers identified the men near the Dehaniya Airport in and opened fire, killing the three men, two of whom had explosives belts.
