Histadrut heads approve decision to hold general strike on June 30

Head of the Histadrut Labor Federation on Tuesday approved a decision to hold a general strike on June 30 in protest of the Finance Ministry's plan to abolish tax exemptions for contributions to savings plans known as advanced-training funds (keren hishtalmut) Histadrut chairman Ofer Eini instructed the federation to start preparations for the strike at the beginning of next week.
