IAF to open fire on Gaza Strip to prevent Kassams

The army divulged its new protocol for defending Israel from Kassam attacks Thursday, according to which the IAF will monitor districts in the Gaza Strip most likely to be Kassam rocket launching-sites and open fire from fighter jets if suspicious activity is spotted. The protocol had not, however, been implemented and still required more specific estimates of the areas to monitored so as to not harm innocent civilians, Army Radio reported.
