IDF lifts curfew on West Bank village after two days

The IDF says it has lifted a two-day curfew on the West Bank village of Nilin.
The army imposed the curfew on Sunday after violent protests against Israel's West Bank security barrier. Nilin residents say the barrier will cut through their village land.
The curfew prevented residents from leaving their homes or traveling in and out of their village.
Journalists also were barred from entering.
Nilin resident Hindi Mesleh says a number of protesters were wounded in unrest before the curfew was imposed, but the claim could not be independently confirmed.
Residents are trying to delay the barrier's construction. They say the protests are mostly peaceful, but acknowledge that young men have thrown rocks at soldiers and burned tires.
