The Kadima primary will be held on September 17, with a possible run-off on September 25, the party announced Tuesday.
Earlier, in interviews with Israeli media, Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni asserted that she would beat Prime Minister Ehud Olmert in the primary should he decide to participate.
Transportation Minister Shaul Mofaz, Public Security Minister Avi Dichter and Interior Minster Meir Sheetrit are also expected to run.
