"I intend to continue on the path that we only just began," Likud chairman Binyamin Netanyahu said on Tuesday, following exit polls showing just 11-12 mandates for the party that won 38 seats in 2003.
Netanyahu said he intended to stay "in order to ensure that this movement is rehabilitated. I have no doubt that if we unite our strength, we will return the Likud to its rightful place in the leadership of the country."
