Prayer notes removed from Kotel ahead of High Holidays

Western Wall Rabbi Shmuel Rabinovitch removed prayer notes left by visitors from between the stones of the Kotel on Sunday, ahead of Rosh Hashanna.

The notes are buried in a nearby Jerusalem cemetery according to Jewish tradition.People of all faiths slip notes between the stones in the belief that god will answer their prayers.Click here for more Jpost High Holidays features
