Five soldiers and two civilian IDF employees were injured in a Navy base in Haifa Wednesday after a bomb shell apparently exploded while a canon was being repaired on a naval vessel.
MDA and army ambulances evacuated the casualties to Rambam Hospital in Haifa.
Two of the casualties were reported to be in moderate to serious condition, while the rest of the casualties were released by Wednesday evening after suffering only light injuries.
A hospital official said none of the casualities' lives were in danger.
