A Kassam rocket fired from the Gaza Strip hit a house in Sderot on Wednesday afternoon.
Several people were treated for shock as a result of the attack, and the house sustained damage.
Another rocket landed in an open field outside the town.
The Al Aksa Martyrs Brigades claimed responsibility for firing the rockets, saying it was retaliation for the assassination of Hizbullah terror chief Imad Mughniyeh in Damascus on Tuesday night.
Earlier Wednesday, two Kassams fired from the Strip landed in open areas in the western Negev.
