Talks break down between lecturers and university presidents
By JPOST.COM STAFF
Late-night talks between the striking senior lecturers and the presidents of Israel's universities broke down after three hours Saturday night as both sides could not reach an agreement.
Following the derailment of the talks, the National Labor Court is expected to decide Sunday at 10:00 a.m. whether to forestall the cancellation of the semester by issuing limited injunctions that would force the lecturers back to work for two weeks.
