Good news for drivers seeking parking in crowded Tel Aviv - the municipal Ahuzot Hanof company has decided to allow free parking for the general public at the Reading power station, reports Yediot Tel Aviv. The decision means some 1500 extra car parking spaces will now be available, at no charge to users. A spokesman said it was hoped that visitors coming into Tel Aviv from the north would park at Reading and then take buses from nearby Rehov Dizengoff or Rehov Ibn Gvirol into the center of the city. The spokesman said the company hoped to provide a solution for the chronic parking and traffic congestion problems afflicting Tel Aviv.
