Egyptian border guards wound African migrants trying to enter Israel

An Egyptian health official says border guards have wounded two African migrants who were trying to cross illegally into Israel.
Imad Kharboush of El-Arish Hospital says a Sudanese and another migrant from Burkina Faso were wounded Sunday when the guards opened fire on them.
He says two other migrants from Burkina Faso have been arrested by police in the incident south of Rafah.
African migrants have been flocking to the desert border area trying to cross into Israel to seek political asylum and jobs. They are often helped by Beduin human traffickers.
