A delegation of Hezbollah officials met with Russian lawmakers in Moscow on Wednesday as part of the terror group’s first official visit to the country, Beirut based The Daily Star reported.MP Muhammad Raad of the Hezbollah-led Loyalty to the Resistance bloc apparently told reporters that the visit reflected the party’s will to promote cooperation with Russia on issues of mutual concern.RELATED:Russian missiles could be passed on to HezbollahThe Russian parliamentary committee for relations with Middle Eastern parliaments invited the delegation, Raad said, according to the paper.According to the report, the Hezbollah members met with Russian deputy speaker Vladimir Zhirinovsky and discussed various topics including the role the US plays in the Middle East. The delegation also discussed regional affairs with the chairman of the Russian parliamentary foreign affairs committee, Constantine Kosachev.
