Israeli security forces demolish Ofra terrorist's home

The IDF confirmed on Wednesday morning that the home of Ofra terrorist Salah Barghouti was demolished overnight.

The operation was conducted in cooperation with the Border Police and the Civil Administration.
The apartment in which Barghouti lived, located in the village of Kober in ​​the West Bank’s Binyamin region, was demolished by the IDF.

Barghouti, along with his brother, carried out the shooting attack near the settlement of Ofra on December 9, 2018, in which a baby, the late Amiad Yisrael Ish-Ran, was murdered.
A few days later, Israeli forces attempted to arrest Barghouti. After he initially attempted to evade authorities by both gunfire and vehicular assault, he was killed.

Following its announcement, the IDF made it clear that it “will continue to act in order to prevent terrorism and maintain security in the region.”
Meanwhile, also overnight on Wednesday, the IDF, Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency), Border Police and the Israel Police arrested nine Palestinians for suspected involvement in terrorist-related activities, popular terrorism and violent disturbances against civilians and soldiers.

The suspects were transferred for questioning.
In addition, during an operation by IDF soldiers in the city of Hebron in the Judea and Samaria area, tens of thousands of shekels believed to be money used for terrorism were confiscated by forces as part of an anti-terrorism crackdown.
