More than 300 Palestinians attended on Sunday the funeral procession for a Palestinian man who carried out a terror attack by slamming his car into pedestrians at a Jerusalem light railway stop, resulting in the death so far of an infant and a woman.The driver, Abdel-Rahman Shaloudi, 21, was shot dead by police as he tried to flee after driving into the crowd at a light railway stop. Two people have died and seven others were injured in the incident.Earlier on Sunday, a woman died of her injuries from Wednesday's terror attack. The other victim was a three-month-old baby.Police have poured forces into the area to confront one of the worst spikes in violence in weeks in a city at the heart of the Israeli, Palestinian conflict.Shaloudi's hometown, the east Jerusalem neighborhood of Silwan next to the old walled city, has been a scene of confrontations since the incident, which his family has said was a traffic accident.According to the lawyer of the family, Israeli court decided that only 20 people can attend the funeral, which took place at 11:30 p.m. local time."Thank god, Thank god that my son is a martyr. He had a smile on his face, finally he is happy now. Thank god," Shaloudi's mother Inas said.Silwan, a neighborhood bordering on Jerusalem's old walled city, has been a focal point of violence in past weeks with Palestinians protesting against Israeli settlers moving into houses in the predominantly Palestinian-populated district.
