Egyptian president visits hospital on surprise visit to Paris.

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak has fallen ill, Arab-language newspaper Al-Quds Al-Arabi reported Tuesday.The 83-year-old president went a round of medical tests during a surprise visit to Paris, the paper reported. His illness is still unknown.Mubarak met with French President Sarkozy and Lebanese Prime Minister Sa'ad Hariri in Paris; however, press photographs from the meetings do not show any signs of illness.Mubarak underwent gallbladder surgery in a German hospital in March, according to Egyptian state television. The Egyptian president was in Germany for talks with Chancellor Angela Merkel when he complained of gallbladder pain, and was taken to the Heidelberg University Hospital.After the reports of the surgery surfaced, Mubarak assured the public of his well-being, despite reportedly having been instructed to rest.Al-Quds Al-Arabi reported that Mubarak must undergo further medical tests following his surgery in Germany.
