Iranian chief prosecutor says verdict needs to be approved by Supreme Court; Egypt may charge Kung Fu coach of spying for Israel.

An Iranian semiofficial news agency reported on Sunday the country has sentenced a suspect to death on a charge of spying for Israel.The report by Mehr news agency Sunday quoted Abbas Jafari Dowlatabadi, Tehran's chief prosecutor, as saying the identity of the suspect will be announced after approval of the verdict by Iran's Supreme Court.RELATED:'Syria uncovers Israeli spy networks with Egypt's help'Egypt arrests 4 citizens over spying for IsraelNeither the official nor the agency would elaborate. Israel had no immediate comment.In 2008, Iran executed Ali Ashtari, an electronics salesman convicted of relaying information on the country's nuclear program and other sensitive data to the Mossad.Also on Sunday, Egyptian prosecutors were expected to find Tarek Abdel-Razek, who allegedly gathered intelligence for the Mossad, guilty of spying for Israel, Egyptian newspaper reports suggested.Cairo's Al-Ahram newspaper claimed that Abdel-Razek, a Kung Fu coach, worked for the Mossad from the beginning of 2008 until August 2010.
