A man discovered an explosive device attached to his vehicle, which police managed to neutralized without injuries Tuesday morning in Bnei Brak,
The man called emergency services, who dispatched a police bomb squad and ambulances to Maccabim Street.
The bomb squad found that the suspicious object "was a kind of pipe bomb," a Tel Aviv police spokesman said.
Officers neutralized the explosive.
Residents of the building were evacuated from the scene during the process of making the device safe.
"The man has not reported prior threats," the spokesman said, adding that there was no known link between the owner of the vehicle and the crime world.
The man's brother told Channel 2 that a stun grenade was thrown at the same vehicle a few days ago. "We have no idea who wants to do this, but the neighbors are seeing this over and over again and are frightened," he added.
