Netanyahu: IDF's achievements so far are 'better than expected'
PM says a military campaign is complicated, and there are difficult moments but op' will continue until goals are met.

The IDF operation in the Gaza Strip is progressing according to plan, and the army's achievements “are better than expected,” Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said Monday.Netanyahu';s comments came during security deliberations with Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon, Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Benny Gatnz, and OC Southern Command Maj.-Gen. Sami Turgeman at an IDF base in the south.Netanyahu repeated what he said the night before: that the operation will continue and expand until its goals of restoring quiet to the south for a long period of time are met.Netanyahu said that the IDF's achievements were very clear, and that he was impressed by the actions against the terror tunnels.“A military campaign is complicated, and there are difficult moments,” he said. “I am convinced that together we will achieve the goal.”
