Only about five or six percent of the population has "surfed" the Web sites of local political parties, according to a new survey at Tel Aviv University's Netvision Institute for Internet Research.
This constitutes over 300,000 people, or about 13% of Internet users in the country. The failure of the majority to go into party Web sites apparently shows a lack of interest in what the parties have to say.
According to the TAU survey, of those who do go to party Web sites, 74% said they do so only once a week or less frequently.
