Tanya Zuckerbrot, a certified nutritionist and founder of F-Factor, fully changed her platform since October 7, now becoming an outlet to advocate for Israel rather than health and nutrition.
Coming to Israel alongside Friends of the IDF (FIDF), Zuckerbrot was able to see firsthand some of the atrocities of October 7 at a time when October 7 denialism is being spread.
"I felt very motivated to bear witness, but more important, to document and share with my following what had occurred in the face of those trying to deny the atrocities," she said.
Witnessing scenes of horror from October 7
Zuckerbrot described some of the scenes of horror and destruction she saw in southern Israel, as well as the scenes reminder that people were living normal lives there up until the tragedy occurred.
"What really struck me was here, you have evil and death, and yet over here, you have so many signs of life that had just been there," she recounted, comparing it to hearing about Hiroshima, where the US dropped an atomic bomb at the end of World War II. People were living, and then they suddenly weren't.
