The boards of the Israel Diamond Exchange and Diamond Exchange Enterprises gave final approval for construction of a fifth building on the diamond exchange site in Ramat Gan. The 28-story building will be constructed across Jabotinsky Street from the exchange and, similar to the rest of the buildings on the exchange site, will be connected by an enclosed pedestrian bridge.
The IDE area has been suffering from limited space as more companies either plan to open offices at the exchange or expand their space. Last month, the construction of the Opal Tower, the fourth tower was approved, which will have 35 stories and 43,000 sq.m. gross space, including a five-story underground parking garage.
