Last night, Rabbi Yoshiyahu Pinto, the leader of the "Shuva Yisrael" world community, lit Hanukkah candles in his home in the city of Rabat in Morocco with the participation of many guests and students.
The lighting ceremony included a prayer for the Jewish people who are going through a difficult time. Rabbi Pinto gave an encouraging Torah lesson expanding on the miracles and wonders that happened during the Hasmonean era and are expected to happen this year.
Rabbi Pinto spoke about the need to remain calm even in moments of stress and tension, and gave practical advice on how to keep calm. "If you are angry with someone - just put it into writing. It is very calming," Rabbi Pinto explained.
He stated that the very act of writing defuses a person’s rage and helps him get balance and stay serene. "Are you angry? Stop for a moment and write it down. There is no doubt that it will help you calm down," he said.
