Rabbi Yoshiyahu Pinto is continuing his journey to strengthen Shuva Yisrael communities around the world. Last night he arrived in Miami, Florida where he gave a Torah talk which included questions and answers on current issues from the audience.

Rabbi Pinto referred to the recent wave of people coming closer to religion and said that "in every Jew there is a ember that sparks and ignites at the moment of truth." He explained, "We need to continue spreading unconditional love and lovingkindness, because only unity will bring the Redemption."

In his talk, Rabbi Pinto referred to how careful one must be when censuring a person and correcting him. "There is a difference between censuring a person and humiliating him. No one has the right to demean any person in the world. He who shames his fellow man has no part in the Hereafter.

"Faith is like an egg," he explained. "If you press on it from both sides, no weight in the world will break it, but if you give it a small flick it will immediately break. It’s the same in life. A person can be in a very difficult situation and will continue to hold on to his faith. Yet, sometimes a small blow breaks him in an instant. Sometimes one says something small to another which ends up crushing him.

"Therefore," Rabbi Pinto continued, "‘Sages, be careful with your words’ lest they destroy people's faith. Rabbis and scholars should be especially careful not to cause harm to anyone.”
