During this time, we all want to change for the better and become better people. But where do we start? We have so much to rectify.
In the talk given by Rabbi Yoshiyahu Pinto in Miami, he referred to the death anniversary of his grandfather the Baba Sali which took place at the beginning of the week. He mentioned that his spiritual power was primarily due to keeping his eyes holy.
Rabbi Pinto explained that a person should focus on rectifying everything related to his eyes. How he looks at the world and how he looks at people. He should avoid sinful sights, and strengthen himself with positive sights.
Rabbi Pinto averred that the eye is the central control panel of the body. The eye controls thought and action, and is the main opening to man’s mind. Our main work should therefore focus on our eyes.
